The Body Shop's InstaBlur

I have been searching high and low for a new primer that will stop my makeup from sliding off my face. I used to use Rimmels Stay Matte Primer, however, I started to realise that it only lasts for a few hours. I needed a primer that can make my makeup stay on for a number of hours.

After reading review after review on primers I thought I would try out the Body Shop's InstaBlur (£14.00) to see what the hype really was about.
I have really oily skin so I didn't think any primers would be able to balance it out, however, when I spoke to the lovely lady in The Body Shop, she explained to me that this primer does help to balance out the oils in the skin.

I am a bit wary about trying out new primers and foundations as I have very sensitive skin. However I am in love with this product and I can not fault it.

The All-In-One Instablur works for:
  • Shine Controlling 12h
  • Reduces appearance of pores
  • Blemish Hiding
  • Complexion Unifying
  • Make-up Extending
The consistency is really smooth and so easy to apply as it is a gel like consistency, the tiniest bit does go a long way. Once applied onto the skin it leaves it feeling so smooth with a really nice base to apply your foundation. Not only does it leave my skin looking smooth it gives off such a under glow which shines through my foundation giving off such a natural glow. As it is a 5 in one primer it also helps to minimise the pores which really does blur any imperfections.

I wore this for the first time on Monday (I had my makeup on for 11 hours) and I did not need to touch it up once! It is honestly the best primer I have tried so far! I would definitely recommend this to anybody as it is such a nice and inexpensive primer to own.

Leave a comment below if you have or want to try this primer and let me know what you thought of it.

    1. Considering it is only £14 compared to others which are double the price, it honestly is amazing and I would definitely recommend buying it
