Naked Palette 1, 2 or 3.

I have recently been tying to decide which naked palette is best to get for a first timer. This would be the first high end eye shadow product I would have purchased so I want to make sure it is the correct one for me.

As I tend to use more gold tones, people have recommended both Naked 1 or Naked 2 as Naked 3 has more of a pinky/rose gold tones. Don't get me wrong, they are stunning colours and one day I will purchase this palette, but right now I don't feel like I would be able to use this palette at its full potential.

So Naked 1 or Naked 2? This is such a hard decision for me as I wish I could just splurge and pay £74 for both of them! What is making it so hard is I am in love with half of each of them. I love the neutrals of the first half of the Naked palette 2, and the smokey shades of the second half of the Naked palette 1. If only I could put them both together? My only problem is Naked 1 and 2 are so similar that if I do buy them both I am going to feel like I have wasted £37. My mind is telling me to go for Naked 2, however, my heart is telling me to go for Naked 1?

Naked 1
They are warm neutrals - shades include: Virgin (nude satin), Sin (champagne shimmer), Naked (buff matte), Sidecar (beige sparkle), Buck (brown matte), Half Baked (bronze), Smog (golden brown shimmer), Darkhorse (bronze-plum shimmer), Toasted (taupe-bronze), Hustle (mocha shimmer), Creep (near-black metallic), Gunmetal (dark grey metallic).

Naked 2
They are taupe neutrals - shades include: Foxy (cream bisque with matte finish), Half Baked (golden-bronze with shimmering finish), Booty Call (shimmering cork), Chopper (copper shimmer with silver microglitter), Tease (creamy pale brown with matte finish), Snake Bite (dark bronze shimmer with metallic base), Suspect (pale golden beige with shimmering finish), Pistol (light gray-brown with shimmering finish), Verve (oyster with shimmering finish), YDK (cool bronze shimmer with metallic base), Busted (deep brown with shimmering finish), Blackout (blackest black with matte finish).

Naked 3
They are rose hude neutrals - shades include: Strange (pale neutral pink matte-satin), Dust (pale metallic pink shimmer w/iridescent micro-glitter), Burnout (light pinky-peach satin), Limit (light dusty rose matte), Buzz (metallic rose shimmer w/silver microglitter), Trick (light metallic pinky-copper shimmer w/tonal microsparkle), Nooner (medium pinky-brown matte), Liar (medium metallic mauve shimmer), Factory (pinky-brown satin), Mugshot (metallic taupe shimmer w/slight pink shift), Darkside (deep taupe-mauve satin), Blackheart (smoky black matte w/rosy red microsparkle).

I would really appreciate any help, comment below if you have one or more of the palettes and which one you would recommend?

  1. I have found that the Naked 3 Palette shades all had quite pinky hues, so if that is what you are looking for, then that is the best. My favourite is Naked 2 because it has some matte and shimmery shades and looks just a step up from the Naked 1! Hope this helped :)

  3. I have Naked 2 but now I really want Naked 1 as I think I would get more use out of it, but if your not sure Makeup Revolution do exact dupes for them called Iconic 1, Iconic 2 and Iconic 3 so if you wanted to see out the colours and which ones suit you that's a good way to try. MUA also have one for Naked 1 & 2 called Undress me and Undressed Me Too so that might make it easier to try xx

  6. I would recommend buying the Naked 2 palette. I own both Naked 2 and Naked 3. I find that I use 2 much often. The colours are easier to work with and can create a range of looks whereas the 3 is more pinks and brown tones.

    Hope this helps!

  8. Naked one is by far my favourite! It is full of colours perfect for a smokey eye and a natural day look! If you are worried about spending all that money buy the MUA Undressed pallette's first for only £4 as they are dupes for the real thing! Then see which one you use more and once you've found that out treat yourself to the Naked palette :)

    Hope that helps!!
